Our commitment

SecureMyOffer is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and to follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Integrated Accessibility Standards.

What we do

  • Text sizes are larger than typical and can be enlarged up to 200% without losing content.
  • Colour combinations meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Forms have visible labels, clear instructions and error messages that explain how to fix the problem.
  • Animation is minimal and is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen reader users can move around quickly.
