1. Sponsor
This contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by SecureMyOffer ("Sponsor"), SecureMyOffer.com Inc, 1-1439 Youville Drive, Ottawa, ON. The Contest is administered solely by Sponsor. RE/MAX LLC and its affiliated brokerages, franchisees, and agents are a promotional partner only and have no responsibility or liability for the administration of this Contest or the awarding of the Prize.
2. Contest period
The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on August 15, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 15, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). Sponsor's database clock is the official timekeeper for the Contest. Entries submitted, or activity conducted, outside the Contest Period are not eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec, who: (a) have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry; and (b) are licensed real estate agents or brokers eligible to register for a free Exclusive REMAX Partnership Account with Sponsor. Employees, contractors, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its affiliated companies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, or child) and members of the same household (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate.
THE CONTEST IS VOID IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
4. How to enter — entry mechanics
No purchase is necessary to register for a free Exclusive REMAX Partnership Account and no entry fee applies. Eligible individuals earn Contest entries during the Contest Period as follows:
- One (1) entry for signing on as a partner agent by registering for a free Exclusive REMAX Partnership Account with Sponsor;
- Five (5) additional entries for each pre-approval certificate the entrant creates for a client; and
- One (1) additional entry for each buy-side certificate inclusion completed by the entrant.
There is no cap on the number of entries an eligible individual may accumulate during the Contest Period through the methods above. Entries are tracked exclusively through Sponsor's systems and the Contest landing page; Sponsor's records are the sole basis for determining entries and are deemed conclusive. Sponsor is not responsible for entries or activity that is lost, misdirected, incomplete, delayed, or not accurately recorded due to technical failure of any kind.
5. The prize
One (1) winner will receive reimbursement of registration/entry fees and hotel accommodation costs incurred in connection with attending the RE/MAX Activate conference (the "Prize"), up to a maximum approximate retail value (ARV) of $2,000 CAD. Any costs exceeding this maximum, and any other costs associated with attending the conference (including, without limitation, travel, meals, incidentals, and time away from work), are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Prize is non-transferable, has no cash redemption value, and no substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize must be used in connection with the specific RE/MAX Activate conference associated with this Contest.
6. Winner selection
One (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries accumulated during the Contest Period. The draw will take place on or about September 16, 2026, conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative, whose decisions regarding the administration of the Contest and selection of the winner are final and binding in all respects.
7. Skill-testing question
Before being confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant will be required to correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, as required by applicable Canadian law.
8. Odds of winning
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries accumulated by all eligible entrants during the Contest Period.
9. Winner notification
The potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time entries were earned, within one (1) business day of the draw. The potential winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance and Release of Liability (and, where required, a Publicity Release) within ten (10) days of notification. If the potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the required time, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, is found ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, that individual will be disqualified and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion and time permitting, select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
10. General conditions
By earning an entry, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest or these Official Rules, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the fairness, integrity, or proper functioning of the Contest, subject to any required regulatory approval.
11. Release of liability
By participating, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, RE/MAX LLC and its affiliated brokerages, franchisees, and agents, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize.
12. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Contest constitutes the winner's consent to Sponsor's use of the winner's name, city/province of residence, and/or likeness in advertising and promotional materials related to the Contest, in any media, without further compensation.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used by Sponsor solely to administer the Contest and, where the entrant has consented, for marketing communications, in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy available at securemyoffer.com/privacy-policy.
14. Taxes
All applicable taxes associated with the receipt or use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
15. Governing law
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. The Contest is void in the Province of Quebec and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law.
